I am founder and CEO of Enlightenment.Com (12 years running now – much of our archive is now back online), a founding member of Integral Institute, and a student and experiential reveler along many alternative pathways:

* from an early awareness of eco-peril (grokking The Population Bomb in third grade) to a Ralph Nader inspired NYPIRG internship and a philosophy major (Phi Beta Kappa) in college
* from transpersonal psychology and human potential seminars to  neo-paganism and  entheogens 
* from the men's movement and liberal Judaism (where else do you get to inspire and co-lead a Leonard Cohen Sing-ALong Shabbat Service?) to martial arts and “weird” science

Through it all, I've been always looking, always feeling, and always experimenting into the co-creative beyond to determine *what works* in the here and now of our magically interactive universe. Home on the range of possibilties, in land, in deed, in promise, in prayer. 

In my Enlightenment.Com capacity, I am fortunate to be able to interview some of the best in the world of consciousness, human potential, and self-development – from Ken Wilber (first-ever public interivew) and Dan Millman and Depak Chopra to Jean Houston and Byron Katie and Joseph Chilton Pearce. (If you'd like to help me out, the one person who I'd really still like to interview (other than maybe the Dalai Lama) is Leonard Cohen.)

Professionally, I am a unique combination of intellectual daring and hard-working talent. I write treatises, books, and articles (as “The Practical Wordsmith”) in a wide range of areas (from electronic evidence to asset allocation to energy psychology). I have been a lawyer; a grant writer; a ghost writer; and a magazine editor.

Mostly, I'm determined, both through my own practice and through Enlightenment.Com (which I now run with two partners), to help fellow travelers unleash as much of their own human potential as possible so that we have a hope and a prayer of not destroying the bio-platform. My energetic antennae enable me accurately assess and then befriend people of high energy, talent, and potential. Rebounding is fun, easy, highly effective, safe, and adaptable to just about any kind of psycho-spiritual practice (e.g., meditation, breath work, visualization, etc.) And if you listen to good music while you do it, it is easy to do it day after day after day. (And I'm pretty sure it builds muscle, because I'm lifting weights less frequently yet seem to be doing OK with lean muscle mass.)
